Food and pharmaceutical composition with strains of heat-killed bacteria for treament of allergy |
abstract |
The invention described relates to strains of heat-killed bacteria with immune activity and to compositions containing strains of heat-killed bacteria not previously known to be useful in treatment of allergy. The composition may be in the form of foodstuffs or in the form of pharmaceutical compositions. The invention described how to screen the strains of heat-killed lactic acid bacteria can enchance the Th1 type immune response and decrease Th2 type immune response. |
