titleOfInvention | Base material having metal layer and manufacturing method thereof. |
abstract | The invention utilizes a plasma surface treatment to generate a hydrophilic area and a hydrophobic area on a surface of the base material and uses a surface treatment solution to attach a catalyst layer or an exchange layer or an insulation layer formed by organic matters or inorganic matters on a hydrophilic surface or a hydrophobic surface of the base material. A metal solution is further utilized to allow the surface of the catalyst layer or the surface of the exchange layer to form a metal layer due to catalyst reaction or exchange reaction. In addition, the insulation layer can protect other areas to prevent metal deposition, and the metal layer attached to the base material can be patterned to form a circuit contact or wires, thereby saving metal usage, simplifying manufacture flow and reducing production equipment cost. |
