titleOfInvention | Manufacturing method of resin dispersions for anti-fouling paint |
abstract | A resin dispersion for anti-fouling paint having self-grindability is provided. The resin dispersions for anti-fouling paint exhibit excellent storage stability, water resistance in the sea, and stain-proof effect over a long period of time and further have excellent adhesion. The manufacturing method of the resin dispersions for anti-fouling paint includes a step of forming a polymer (A) that contains divalent metal, and a step of dispersing polymer (A) in dispersion medium that contains water or mixture of water/organic solvent. The polymer (A) that contains divalent metal is obtained from 1 wt%-40 wt% of divalent metal containing-vinyl unsaturated monomer (a1), 0-8 wt% of carboxyl containing-vinyl unsaturated monomer (a2), 0-40 wt% of hydroxyl containing-vinyl unsaturated monomer (a3), and 99 wt%-22 wt% of other vinyl unsaturated monomer (a4) by solution polymerization with multiple stages that include more than two stages. |
