Provided are: a glass sheet for Cu-In-Ga-Se (CIGS) solar cells, which combines a high power generation efficiency and a high glass transition temperature; and CIGS solar cells with high power generation efficiency. A glass sheet for CIGS solar cells which comprises, in percentage by mole in terms of oxides, 60 to 75% of SiO2, 3 to 10% of Al2O3, 0 to 3% of B2O3, 5 to 18% of MgO, 0 to 5% of CaO, 4 to 18.5% of Na2O, and 0 to 17% of K2O, and contains SrO, BaO, and ZrO2 in a total amount of 0 to less than 10%, with the K2O/(Na2O+K2O) ratio being 0 to 0.5, and which has a glass transition temperature exceeding 550 DEG C; and solar cells which each comprise both a glass substrate having a CIGS photoelectric conversion layer and a cover glass disposed on the glass substrate, wherein the glass substrate and/or the cover glass is the glass sheet for CIGS solar cells. |
