abstract | The invention provides an adsorbent composition that is used for desulfurization in pyrolysis of fuel for gasoline and diesel engines. The absorbent composition shows excellent abrasion-resistance and desulfurization activity. On the basis of total weight of the absorbent composition, the desulfurizing absorbent composition comprises the following components: (1) aluminum oxide having a content of approximately 5 to roughly 35 weight percentage; (2) silicon oxide having a content of approximately 3 to roughly 30 weight percentage; (3) at least a oxide of metal selected from IIB and VB groups, having a content of approximately 10 to roughly 80 weight percentage; (4) at least a metal promoter selected from VIIB and VIII groups, having a content of approximately 3 to roughly 30 weight percentage; and (5) at least an oxide of metal selected from IA and IIA groups, having a content of approximately 0.5 to roughly 10 weight percentage. |
