titleOfInvention | Hydrophilic coating agent and method for using the same |
abstract | The present application provides a coating-type hydrophilic coating agent useful for anti-fog treatment in agricultural house, greenhouse and so on, and for anti-dust treatment for house wall. In particular, the present application relates to a one reagent hydrophilic coating agent using sodium silicates (Na2O.2(SiO2)), and method of using the same. The hydrophilic coating agent is a coating-type, cheap and easy handling one reagent hydrophilic coating agent, comprising 1 to 70 parts by weight of cheap sodium silicates, and 0.5 to 30 parts by weights of low molecular weight hydrophilic organic compounds as the main components. After the hydrophilic coating agent being applied to and dried on the agricultural film or house wall, the sodium silicate glasses are firmly adhered to the coated surface and forming a coating on the coated surface. By the presence of the low molecular weight hydrophilic organic compound, which is contained in the glass and is distributed on the coated surface, the water drop or raindrop flow through the coated agricultural film or the house wall. In addition, the dilution scale for the hydrophilic coating agent is simplified and is easier for handling. Further, if the hydrophilic effect is decreased, the hydrophilic coating agent could again be applied to the agricultural film or house wall. |
