titleOfInvention | Light-storing luminous powder. |
abstract | The present invention relates to a light-storing luminous powder that is mainly composed of a light-storing type photoluminescence material, which is activated by different kinds of ions, incorporated with an auxiliary material. The light-storing luminous powder is completely composed of oxide based luminous powder. The present invention mixes aluminum oxide (Al.sub.2O.sub.3), strontium oxide (SrO), calcium oxide (CaO), europium oxide (Eu.sub.2O.sub.3), dysprosium oxide (Dy.sub.2O.sub.3) and silicon oxide (SiO.sub.2) in a specific ratio, wherein the oxides are in powder form (tiny particles) with stabilities of being insoluble in water, fuel or alcohol. By utilizing oxide-based luminous body material, the powder have ultra duration of afterglow and is extremely chemically stable so that when it is in contact with the light ray, a chemical reaction takes place at extremely short time to store the light energy, and the light energy is slowly released when there is no light. Accordingly, products with high luminous brightness, longer afterglow time, excellent weather resistance and excellent light resistance can be produced, and various light emitting materials or finished products can be produced while incorporating with other materials. |
