abstract |
The present invention provides a method for manufacturing β -SIALON fluorescent body, which is possible to increase luminous intensity without adding metallic elements other than elements constituting β -SIALON fluorescent body. Namely, the method for manufacturing fluorescent body is provided, wherein there is an optically active element contained in the crystal of nitride or nitrogen oxide as the luminous center and β -SIALON fluorescent body is formed by the following steps: a step of sintering to heat treat the mixture containing powder of metal compound and optically active element; a step of high temperature annealing to heat treat sintered body under nitrogen atmosphere after cooling it; a step of rare gas annealing to heat treat high temperature annealed body under rare gas atmosphere; and a step of acidification to treat rare gas annealed body with acid. |
