abstract | A wavelength-converting fluorescent material used in the transparent layers of a solar cell module is described, made by mixing a fluorescent substance in a vinyl compound. A wavelength-converting resin composition is also described, made by polymerizing the vinyl compound in the fluorescent material and then mixing the fluorescent material in a transparent dispersion medium resin. Thus, a wavelength-converting fluorescent material capable of converting the wavelengths of some light contributing little to the electricity generation in the incident sunlight to certain wavelengths contributing much to the electricity generation and capable of making the sunlight utilization efficient and stable without degradation, a wavelength-converting resin composition using the same, and fabricating methods of them are provided. |
