abstract | A laser processing device for brittle material and a method of laser processing and shift compensation are disclosed. The device comprises a laser source, a laser control unit, a focus control unit, a system control unit, a carrying platform, a driving shaft control unit, a measurement unit, and an image capturing unit. The system control unit calculates the parameters like laser beam focusing position and depth according to the measurement of the measurement unit and controls the focus control unit and the driving shaft control unit to carry out laser processing. The method comprises a preparation step, a scanning step, a processing step and a process completion step. The laser beam is focused on the lower surface of a workpiece, and the focal length is gradually moved to process the upper surface, so as to effectively improve the cutting precision, stability and conventional cone angle of laser processing, such that the dust collection and debris removal device and can be omitted to shorten the working time and to reduce costs. |
