abstract | New thiadiazole derivatives having the chemical structure of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or N-oxide or steroisomer thereof wherein wherein: L represents a direct bond or a -NH- group, R1 represents a phenyl, a pyridyl or a benzyl group which is optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from halogen atoms, a C1-4 alkyl group, a C1-4 alkoxy group, a C3-7 cycloalkyl group and CN, -CONH2 and CF3 groups, R2 represents a C1-6 alkyl or a C1-4 alkyl-C3-7 cycloalkyl group, R3, R4 and R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C1-4 alkyl group or a CF3 group, R5 represents a -O-(CH2)(0-2)-Ra, -O-(CH2)(2-4)-NR'R'', -O-(CH2)(2-4)-NH-(CH2)(l-4)-R'', -(CH2)(l-2)-NR'R'', -(CH2)(l-4)-NH-(CH2)(l-4)-R'' or -(CO)-NR'R'', wherein Ra represents a 4 to 6-membered N-containing saturated heterocyclic group optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from a hydroxycarbonyl group and C1-4 alkyl group substituted with hydroxycarbonyl group, or a C3-7 cycloalkyl group substituted with a di-(C1-4 alkyl)amino group which is itself optionally substituted with hydroxycarbonyl group, R' represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-4 alkyl group, R'' represents a methylsulfonamido group, a C2-4 alkanoyl group which is optionally substituted with a hydroxy group; a C1-4 alkyl group substituted with one or more substituents selected from a hydroxy group and a hydroxycarbonyl group; a 5- to 6-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic group containing one or more heteroatoms selected from nitrogen and oxygen atoms and which is optionally substituted with hydroxy group; or a C4-6 cycloalkyl group substituted with a hydroxycarbonyl group, or R' and R'' together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached form a 4 to 6 membered, saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic group which contains, as heteroatoms, the N atom to which R' and R'' are attached and 0, 1 or 2 further N atoms, which heterocyclic group is optionally substituted with one or more substituents selected from a cyano, a carbamoyl, hydroxycarbonyl, C1-3 alkoxycarbonyl and 1H-tetrazolyl groups and C1-3 alkyl group which is optionally substituted by a hydroxycarbonyl group. |
