titleOfInvention Thin film solar cell and fabrication method thereof
abstract A thin film solar cell including a substrate, a first conducting layer, a photovoltaic layer and a second conducting layer is provided. The first conducting layer disposed on the substrate has a plurality of first openings to expose the substrate. The photovoltaic layer disposed on the first conducting layer has a plurality of second openings, so as to so as to divide the photovoltaic layer into a plurality of single areas. An area of each of the single areas increases as the thickness of the photovoltaic layer decreases. The second conducting layer is exposed by the second openings. The second conducting layer disposed on the photovoltaic is electrically connected to the first conducting layer through the second opening. The second conducting layer has a plurality of third openings penetrating the photovoltaic layer and exposing the first conducting layer. A fabrication method of the thin film solar cell is also provided.
