titleOfInvention Micro-deformable piezo-resistive material and manufacturing method thereof
abstract A micro-deformable piezo-resistive material includes a hard plastic body which has a micro-deformable rough surface, a plurality of conductive particles evenly dispersed in the plastic body. The micro-deformable rough surface is deformed when a pressure is applied. The deformation of the rough surface tends to increase contact area, according to the law of resistance R= ρ L/A, when the section area A increases, the output resistance decreases. The characteristics made the micro-deformable piezo-resistive material suitable to be used as a pressure-sensitive material in a pressure sensor device. The deformed rough surface shall soon recover without having any significant hysteresis once the applied pressure is removed.
