abstract |
The invention provides a sulfur-contained barium titanate used in nickel paste for producing multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC), nickel paste having the sulfur-contained barium titanate and their production method, and MLCC having inner electrodes without defects such as cracks. The sulfur-contained barium titanate is able to depress occurrence of cracks caused in burning the multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC), and thus increases the production yield. In addition to nickel powder, binding agent, and solvent, the sulfur-contained barium titanate formed by mixing barium titanate powder with sulfur is added into the nickel paste used for the inner electrodes of the multilayer ceramic capacitor. |
