abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal aligning agent having excellent reliability, and a liquid crystal display element having excellent reliability. The solution mean of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal aligning agent, which is characterized in that comprises one or more than two of polymer selected from the group consisting of polyamic acid obtained by reacting tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with diamine and polyamine made by dehydration and ring closure of the said polyamic acid. The said tetracarboxylic acid comprises 1, 2, 3, 4-cyclobutane tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride, pyromellitic acid dianhydride, 1, 3, 3a, 4, 5, 9b-hexahydro-5-(tetrahydro-2, 5-dioxa-3-furyl)-naphtho[1, 2-c]-furan-1, 3-dione. The said diamine comprises p-phenylene diamine, 4, 4-bis (4-aminophenoxy)biphenyl. |
