titleOfInvention | Irregular-shaped hollow microparticle, method for producing same, and cosmetic material and resin composition containing irregular-shaped hollow microparticle |
abstract | Disclosed are: an irregular-shaped hollow microparticle, which can sufficiently meet high-level requirements in these days for, e.g., improvement in optical characteristics, such as total light transmittance and light diffusing properties, in molded resin articles, and improvement in texture in using, soft-focus effect, persistence and so on in cosmetics; a method for producing the same; and use of the same. Use is made of an irregular-shaped hollow microparticle having a spindle shape as a whole, wherein a plurality of recesses (21) are formed on the surface (11), the interior (31) is equipped with one hollow part (41), and the surface (11) is connected to the hollow part (41) via a cleavage (51) that is elongated along the direction of the major diameter (L1), characterized in that the average of the major diameter (L1) is 0.1-30 [mu]m and the ratio of the average of the minor diameter (L2) to the average of the major diameter (L1) is 0.3-0.8. |
