abstract |
This invention relates to a non-PVC polyolefin tape made by a calendar process and a method of making the same. A polyolefin composition other than polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material is processed by calendar to obtain polyolefin tape. In the process, all materials are compounded homogeneously by a mixer and a Banbury mixer; after fully gelatinized by a rolling machine, the materials are directed into a calendar stack to be rolled and formed, optionally embossed by an embossment roller set, and cooled to shape. |
