titleOfInvention | Coating material containing vinyl alcohol-based polymer |
abstract | Provided is a coating material which contains polyoxyalkylene modified vinyl alcohol-based polymer wherein vinyl alcohol-based polymer contains polyoxyalkylene represented by formula (I) in a side chain; polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer with a viscosity average degree of polymerization (P) of 500-5000, a degree of saponification of 20-99.99 mol%, and a denatured polyoxyalkylene amount (S) of 0.1-10 mol%. Thus, it is possible to produce inkjet recording material having ink receiving layer with no suffering surface cracking and excellent ink absorption. (Wherein, R1 represents H atom or methyl; R2 represents H atom or alkyl with C1-C8. m and n represent separately repeat unit number of oxyalkylene unit, 1 ≤ m ≤ 10, 3 ≤ n ≤ 20.) |
