titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for recording information in optical storage medium, and multi-layer optical storage medium |
abstract | A recording method of an optical storage medium and a storage device, which can adjust exposure intensity when a message is recorded in an optical storage medium by means of a pulse laser. In the storage method, a pulse laser light is used to expose the optical storage medium, and then an optical alteration portion is recorded as a message. In such a storage method, at least the optical storage medium or the pulse laser light is moved relative to the other, and the pulse laser light irradiates the optical storage medium; a length (pit length Lp) of the optical alteration portion corresponds to a scanning length Ls of several pulses of the pulse laser light, and when an optical alteration portion is recorded, the exposure intensity of the optical alteration portion is adjustable by extending the pulse laser light using a shutter. |
