abstract This invention presents a fresh-keeping method for bananas by employing zeolites with the addition of palladium (Pd). The method has the following steps: firstly, perform a heat treatment on the Pd-Zeolites; secondly, put bananas and the Pd-Zeolites into an airtight container. The method can keep the freshness and effectively extend the storage duration of bananas by decreasing the aging rate of their texture. Moreover, the method will increase economic benefits and not affect bananas' physiological development and human health.
