titleOfInvention Method for recovering reforming catalyst, catalyst and adsorbent
abstract A method is disclosed for recovering used reforming catalyst by separation less aged catalysts from more severely aged catalysts. The particle size and pore volume of more aged reforming catalysts are smaller than these of less aged catalysts, but the true density of more aged reforming catalyst is higher than it of the less aged catalysts. These properties are applied to recover used reforming catalysts. The used reforming catalysts adsorbed light liquid solution and then placed on the upside of another heavy liquid solution. By different depositing time of aged catalysts, less aged catalysts were separated from more aged catalysts and recovered.
