abstract | Disclosed is an automatic analysis method for patent claims, including the steps of: distinguishing claim sequences, which utilizes forefront claim item of each claim and cooperates with the last period of the claim, to itemize each item; searching preambles, for interpreting attributes of each claim one by one as an independent claim or a dependent claim; analyzing claims, for analyzing each claim one by one, where if the claim is an independent claim, it is analyzed and recorded in accordance with an automatic analysis method to determine the scope of the independent claim, and if the claim is a dependent claim, it is analyzed and recorded in accordance with an automatic analysis method to determine the scope of the dependent claim; and data processing, which substantially analyzes the result of each step mentioned above, to establish archives and/or display the results; in which the steps of distinguishing claim sequences, searching preambles, analyzing preambles, analyzing claims and data processing are performed in an automation manner. |
