titleOfInvention Vanadate phosphor and white light illumination device utilizing the same
abstract The invention provides vanadate phosphors composed of Eu1-x Ca9-y(VO4)7: Max, Mby, wherein Ma is Sm3+, Bi3+, Tb3+, La3+, or Y3+, Mb is Sr2+, Ba2+, or Zn2+, 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.15, 0 ≤ y ≤ 1, and at least one of x and y is greater than 0. These Vanadate phosphors emit visible light under the excitation of ultraviolet light or blue light, and these phosphors may be further collocated with different color phosphors to provide a white light illumination device.
