abstract |
This is a preparation method for an optical material containing silicon and titanium. 4-ethoxy-silicon solution is mixed and stirred thoroughly with isopropyl titanate solution using acetylacetone as complexing agent to obtain a mixture. It includes adjusting the pH of the mixture to 4-6 and aging mixing it with another 2-4 hours to yield the silicon-titanium sol product. The silicon-titanium sol can be further processed to acquire silica-titania ceramic powder or film, which is characteristic of high transmittance and good film forming property. |
