abstract | The present invention relates to a speed-measuring system. The system is configured for measuring the speed of a mobile communication terminal with a GSM, moving from a first place to a second place relative to a base station. The base station includes at least one antenna and a signal tower. The center line of the signal tower is perpendicular to the at least one antenna, and a intersection point is formed between the signal tower and the at least one antenna. According to the inclination of the signal source from the mobile communication terminal and the antenna detected by an inclination-detecting unit, the distance between the mobile communication terminal and the point detected by a distance-detecting unit and the time of the mobile communication terminal moving from the first place to the second place detected by a time-detecting unit, a moving-speed-calculating unit calculates the moving speed of the mobile communication terminal. A display unit displays the value of the moving speed. The present invention also relates to a method of speed-measuring of the speed-measuring system. |
