titleOfInvention Protocol for determining emulsification ability of surfactant on petroleum hydrocarbon located in oil-contaminated soils and apparatus thereof
abstract A protocol for determining emulsification ability of surfactant on petroleum hydrocarbon contaminated in soil and the apparatus thereof are provided, wherein the system comprises a means for soil drip-washing, a solution injector, a solution collector and a gas chromatography (GC) equipment. The oil-contaminated soil is filled in the means for soil drip-washing. A surfactant is injected into the means for soil drip-washing via the solution injector connected therewith. The surfactant fluid through the means for soil drip-washing and the petroleum contaminant emulsified by the surfactant are collected by the solution collector and detected to determine the total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) involved in the surfactant by GC.
