titleOfInvention | Optical film adhesion device and production method of a display panel |
abstract | This invention provides an optical film adhesion device. An optical film is held on a drum, when the optical film is adhered to two sides of a display panel substrate nearly at the same time, the optical film is uniformly pressed on the display panel and an adhesion processing of high quality is performed, then the category replacement can be realized easily at a low cost when an adsorption drum having several adsorption holes is used, a bad adhesion such as bubbles and foreign article entrainment occurred when the optical film is adhered to the display panel will not occur. When an optical film is adhered to a display panel, both stand up slantly in a slant state of a specific angle relative to a vertical direction. In such a slant standing state, a polaroid is kept on a slant drum, and the optical film is nearly at the same time adhered to the two sides (the first main surface (CF surface) and the second main surface (TFT surface)) of the display panel by rotating and controlling the drum. An adsorption drum is constructed by a cylindrical drum (a drum formed by rolling a thin-plate-shaped panel into a cylindrical shape). At the wall-thickness portion of the cylinder, a linear hollow portion roughly parallel to a rotation axis is installed at the positions respectively corresponding to the front end and the rear end of the optical film, and some adsorption holes are installed on the outer circumferential surface of the drum along the hollow portion. By using adhesive gum member installed on the outer circumferential surface of the drum means, the optical film is kept adhered and the optical film is adhered to the display panel. Furthermore, by using a first and a second drum means including an adhesive gum member, the first and the second optical films are kept adhered, and adhesion can be performed nearly at the same time from the left and the right sides of the display panel. |
