abstract The present invention relates to a flexible light bar and a manufacturing method thereof. The structure comprises plural sections of light emitting units and power lines along its outer side which are formed as a long bar object, and a flexible transparent protective layer is continuously packaged around the long bar object using an extruder, such that there is no length limitation for forming the flexible light bar, enabling long extension in length. The manufacturing method electrically connects plural sections of light emitting units having light emitting diodes into a long bar shape, and electrically connects a power source line to the external ends of the outmost section of light emitting units which are series connected into a long bar. Then an extruding means is used to dispose a transparent protective layer on the long bar object formed of those sections of light emitting units and power lines. The method can provide continuous packaging without length limitation so as to largely increase production capacity.
