abstract | Disclosed is an outstandingly flexible moulding material (moulding material in the form of a cream) which can be moulded freely for a wide variety of uses, is provided with pliability, (fluidity) and shape retention and is easy to handle; the moulding material does not sag during manufacture, and after drying is able to give a final product which is light and has a smooth surface. The moulding material is a moulding material in the form of a cream, formed by intensive mixing of light hollow microspheres, water, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and optionally an added binding material, and a composition comprising glycerol, liquid paraffin, and another powder. The material is pliable and sag-resistant; and preferably the material is constituted by intensive mixing of at least light hollow microspheres at 38-55 wt%, water at 33-55 wt% and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) at 2-12 wt%, and optionally contains an added binding material at 0.3-5.0 wt%. |
