| abstract |
Disclosed is an organic EL light emitting device comprising an element forming substrate (1), an organic EL element (2) including an organic luminescent layer stacked on the element forming substrate (1), and a sealing substrate (3) provided so that the organic EL element is housed and sealed in a portion between the sealing substrate (3) and the element forming substrate (1). In a peripheral part of the element forming substrate (1) and the sealing substrate (3), a sealing part (4) with an adhesive is provided. A grease layer or a gel layer (5) is housed between the element forming substrate (1) with the organic EL element (2) formed so as to be surrounded by the sealing part (4) and the sealing substrate (3) in a flat plate form so that the grease layer or a gel layer (5) is in close contact with both the element forming substrate (1) and the sealing substrate (3). The grease layer or gel layer (5) comprises an oligomer or a polymer having an organosiloxane bond (-R2SiO-) or a fluorinated polyether (-CF2CFYO-) as a skeleton. |
