abstract An objective of the present invention is to provide a display device allowing writing time to be reduced. The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device (display device) (100) including a plurality of pixels (32), wherein a time taken for writing a video signal into each of the pixels (32) is changed according to the position of the pixel (32). Thereby, writing time of video signal can be changed so as to be reduced according to the position of the pixel (32), so that the writing time can be suppressed from being set to an excess long time. Therefore, the writing time can be shortened compared with a case where a fixed writing time is set for all pixels.
