A light module for LCD backlight module is described. The light module includes a circuit board and a plurality of light emitting diodes arranged on the circuit board. Each of the light emitting diodes has a broad far-field pattern. Each of the light emitting diodes has at least an LED chip and a molding unit packaging the LED chip. The LED chips are electrically connected with the circuits of the circuit board. |
