abstract | A liquid crystal display comprises: a liquid crystal display panel, and a backlight module that provides the needed light source to the liquid crystal display panel. The backlight module comprises a reflecting unit, a light emitting unit, and compound type diffuser plate structure. The light emitting unit has multiple light emitting components that are located in the chamber of the reflecting unit. The compound type diffuser plate structure is installed on the side of the light emitting unit and comprises: a transparent main body unit, and a printed microstructure lens diffusing unit. The transparent main body unit has a light-permeable main layer, and multiple micro diffusing kernels that are formed inside the light-permeable main body which causes light rays to diffuse inside the light-permeable main body. There are a light input surface and a light output surface on both sides of the light-permeable main body. The printed microstructure lens diffusing unit has multiple printed microstructure optic diffusing points on either the light input surface or the light output surface of the light-permeable main body unit, that are formed by a printing process. |
