abstract Provided are organosilicon compounds which have oxetanyl groups which have a high proportion of inorganic parts in the structure, which, after production, are stable with no gelling, and which have excellent storage stability when they are formed into compositions, and a method for the production and curable compositions of the same. The organo-silicon compounds which have oxetanyl groups are compounds which are obtained by a method which includes a process in which a silicon compound A which can be represented by general formula (1) and a silicon compound B which has four siloxane bond-forming groups are subjected to hydrolysis and condensation in proportions of from 0.3 to 2.8 mol of silicon compound B per 1 mol of silicon compound A. [In the formula, R0 is an organic group which has an oxetanyl group, R1 is an alkyl group of carbon number from 1 to 6, an aralkyl group of carbon number from 7 to 10, an aryl group of carbon number from 6 to 10 or an organic group which has an oxetanyl group, X is a hydrolyzable group and n is 0 or 1.]
