abstract | This invention provides a rubber modified (methyl) acrylic acid ester series resin composition. The resin composition comprises 50-80 percent by weight of a copolymer (A1) and 1-50 percent by weight of a copolymer (A2) with a rubber particle formed with 1-20 percent by weight of rubber-like polymer (B). The foregoing (A1), (A2), and (B) are amounted to 100 weight percentage. The copolymer (A1) includes (i-1) 80-99.8 percent by weight of methyl acrylic acid ester series monomer, and (i-2) 0.2-20 percent by weight of acrylic acid series monomer. The copolymer (A2) includes (i-1) 20-80 percent by weight of styrene series monomer, (i-2) 0-40 percent by weight of nitrile vinyl monomer, and (i-3) 20-80 percent by weight of (methyl) acrylic acid ester series monomer. The rubber particle has occlusion structure and non-occlusion structure. The gel amount contained in the rubber particle of rubber modified (methyl) acrylic acid ester series resin composition is 4.0-9.5 percent by weight, and the total amount of the methyl acrylic acid series monomer component and acrylic acid ester series monomer component contained in the copolymer (A1) and copolymer (A2) occupies 70-99 percent by weight of the copolymer (A1) and copolymer (A2). The rubber modified (methyl) acrylic acid series resin composition has the physical properties of excellent surface impact strength, high surface luster, and high surface hardness and the appearance of the rooftop finished product does not appear atomization phenomenon |
