abstract The present invention provides a system for identifying bending type of plate accessory. The system includes: host computer and data base, the data base storing all surfaces and thickness of the plate and storing calculating function. The host computer includes: getting module is used to get a bending surface of the plate user selected; calculating module is used to transfer calculating function to calculate radius and angle of the bending surface; judging module is used to judges whether there is a green surface or a white surface in the adjacent face of the bending surface; the judging module is also used to judge whether the angle of the bending surface is 180 degree and judge whether the radius is longer than the thickness of the plate; outputting module is used to output the type of the bending surface. A method for identifying bending type of plate accessory is also provided.
