abstract |
To provide an antimicrobial agent, particularly a novel polypeptide compound having an antifungal activity. An extensive study was made on a novel antifungal agent, and it is now found that an excellent anti-deep-fungal activity can be achieved by introducing a cyclohexylmethylamino group or a piperidylmethylamino group into a naturally occurring polypeptide compound as a partial structure. The compound has an excellent antimicrobial activity, and is therefore useful as a prophylactic or therapeutic agent for various fungal infections. |
