Accommodative intraocular lens system |
abstract |
A two optic accommodative lens system wherein at least one of the optics is defonnable. When compressed by the capsular bag, the two optics press against each other, deforming at least one of the optics. As a result, the interface where the two optics meet changes shape, thereby altering the refractive power of the lens system. |
