abstract |
A semiconductor light source with a primary radiation source (1) is given, which emits in operation of the semiconductor light source electromagnetic primary radiation (5) in a first wavelength range, and with a luminescence conversion module (2), into which the primary radiation (5) emitted from the primary radiation source (1) is coupled. The luminescence conversion module (2) contains a luminescence conversion element (6), which absorbs the primary radiation (5) from the first wavelength range by means of a luminous material and emits electromagnetic secondary radiation (15) in a second wavelength range. The luminescence conversion element (6) is arranged at a cooling body (3) and is separated from the primary radiation source (1). The luminescence conversion module (2) has a reflector surface (7, 71, 72), which reflects the primary radiation (5) that passes through the luminescence conversion element (6) and is not absorbed by it back into the luminescence conversion element (6) and/or reflects secondary radiation (15) into the direction of a light coupling-out surface (601) of the luminescence conversion element (6). |
