abstract This invention provides an anti-human caveolin-1 polyclonal antibody with high specificity, which is prepared by the following steps: (1) providing a peptide sequence including a fragment of caveolin-1 peptide sequence SEQ ID NO:1 as an antigen; and (2) subcutaneously injecting the antigen into a rabbit to allow the rabbit to produce anti-human caveolin-1 polyclonal antibody. This invention also provides an antigen and a method for preparing the anti-human caveolin-1 polyclonal antibody, and a kit for detecting caveolin-1 in specimens.
