titleOfInvention | Electronic input device with piezoelectric sensor |
abstract | An electronic input device with piezoelectric sensor is disclosed, the device includes a housing, a piezoelectric sensor layer disposed on surfaces of the housing, and an electrode plate covering on the top of the piezoelectric sensor layer. When a user contacts the electrode plate with his/her skin, and presses the piezoelectric sensor layer from the electrode plate, the electrode plate sequentially sends Galvanic Skin Response (GSR) signals as physiology information into the input device, and the piezoelectric sensor layer sends a piezoelectric signal corresponding to the strength of pressing on the piezoelectric sensor layer. Therefore, the input device will obtain valuable GSR data as the piezoelectric sensor layer been pressed appropriately. |
