abstract A flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) includes a signal layer, a ground layer, a dielectric layer lying between the signal layer and the ground layer, and a differential pair consisted of two transmission lines. One transmission line is etched in the signal layer, and the other transmission line is etched in the ground layer. The ground layer has a copper-removed area corresponding to the transmission line in the signal layer. A distance is generated between the two transmission lines in a horizontal direction. The FPCB has a low noise, low cost, and can transmit high speed signals.
