| abstract |
This invention relates to a method for cleaning a lamp glass tube for use in a fluorescent lamp, particularly for cleaning a lamp glass tube for use in a fluorescent lamp for backlight illumination. The cleaning method uses an aqueous cleaning agent in a neutral or strong basic environment with a pH of 7 to 12 to clean the glass tube, and the cleaning temperature is between about 0 degree Celsius and about 90 degree Celsius. |
