abstract A method for photo signal detection for a touchable display includes detecting a first photo signal during a first period by a photo sensor, inserting a black frame during a second period, and detecting a second photo signal by the photo sensor. The first photo signal and the second photo signal are then compared such that a third photo signal is issued to determine a touch position on a touchable panel. The touch position is thus precisely detected though inserting the black frame.
