titleOfInvention Motherboard fault-finding testing method
abstract The invention provides a mother board fault-finding testing method applicable to a computer apparatus equipped with at least one memory unit. The testing method includes first electrically connecting the memory unit with the computer apparatus and powering-on the apparatus; continuously writing a first numeric value into a first address of the memory unit via the motherboard of the apparatus, and concurrently writing a second numeric value into a second address of the memory unit; generating bit errors in the memory unit; reading and acquiring outputted values of the first and second address sections and comparing the same with the written and acquired values of the first and second address sections respectively; and recording information on the bit errors generated in the memory unit when an inconsistency of values is found, thereby overcoming the defects of the prior techniques.
