abstract A driving-controlling method of a transflective-type liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus, which has a transflective-type LCD panel having at least one pixel and the pixel has a first storage capacitance, a second storage capacitance and a liquid crystal (LC) capacitance, includes the steps of transmitting a first image pixel data to the first storage capacitance in a first time; transmitting a small signal to the LC capacitance and the second storage capacitance in a second time; and transmitting a start signal to the pixel so that the first image pixel data is transmitted to the LC capacitance and the second storage capacitance from the first storage capacitance in a third time. In addition, a transflective-type LCD apparatus is also disclosed.
