titleOfInvention An antibacterial touch panel and method of making the same
abstract An antibacterial touch panel and method of making the same is disclosed. The touch panel includes a panel substrate providing user touching and an antibacterial layer coated on the said panel substrate. The antibacterial layer has an antibacterial material as in chemical formula (I): (X3Si)mR1Zn, M ≥ 1, n≥ 1, wherein X is a hydrolizable silicon functional group, R1 is an isocyanate group, and Z is a base group having quaternary ammonium group. The antibacterial material has strong effect in antibacterial and form covalent bond with the panel substrate to stably attach on it. Therefore the present invention provides long term and stable antibacterial effect.
