titleOfInvention | Polarizing plate for liquid crystal display device, producing method of polarizing plate for liquid crystal display device, and liquid crystal display device |
abstract | The main object of the present invention is to provide a polarizing plate for a liquid crystal display device which is excellent in realizing optical characteristics and which can be adhered to a liquid crystal cell without deteriorating the optical characteristics. To achieve the object, the invention provides a polarizing plate for a liquid crystal display device comprising: a retardation film comprising a substrate made of a cellulose derivative, and a retardation layer formed directly on the substrate and contains the cellulose derivative and a rodlike compound which exhibits refractive anisotropy; a polarizer adhered onto the retardation layer of the retardation film and made of polyvinyl alcohol; and a polarizing plate protecting film adhered onto the polarizer. |
