abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for monitoring the filling of a capsule with a medicament by image analysis, a corresponding filling process, the associated apparatus, and a computer programme for controlling the process. In the monitoring process, after at least part of the capsule has been filled with a given fill mass of a given closed contour from the medicament, in a first step at least the fill mass contained in the part of the capsule after filling is recorded by digital imaging, in a second step the contour of the fill mass contained in the capsule part is determined from the digital image recording and in a third step the contour is analysed so as to evaluate the filling compared with the prescribed contour. The invention envisages that external influences on the image characteristics be compensated by adjustment of the optical system. |
