abstract | A gasifier device for gasifying biomass waste with steam plasma torch utilizes steam as the gas of working medium which is heated to a high temperature by operating a steam plasma torch device. The body of the gasifier device is heated to a necessary high temperature, and then the biomass waste is fed to a gasifying zone in the gasifier device for gasification. By means of highly active atom, free radical such as H, O, OH- and the operation condition at a high temperature, the biomass waste is gasified, and the syngas fuel with high energy density is produced. Without an additional decoking equipment, the generation of tar and char can be eliminated, and the gasifier device is kept operating. Therefore, the present invention are advantageous in a simplified operation and maintenance, enhancement of efficiency for producing the syngas, preventing the wasting of water and formation of water pollution caused by water wash. Also, the object of environment protection and energy regeneration is achieved. |
